I find it a bit iffy that you're in a committed relationship yet make a reddit post about a guy you like platonically not showing you the same attention at work. To me this indicates the possibility of you perhaps needing attention, or just having a more flirtatious personality without being aware of it.
Not saying these to offend or insult you, more to bring clarity as it's a bit confusing when you say 'it's not like that'. Then why does it even matter? Maybe your colleague has picked up on the fact that you like him and he wants to steer clear of anything that could lead of flirting or a closeness between you two, out of respect for his partner.

Your kid cares, he just doesn’t want you fighting. Kids always think parents fighting is their fault. Your wife sounds awful. She needs to get her priorities straight. So do you, frankly. You need to choose loyalty to your blood child here, not your wife by choice. She needs to accept your son or GTFO.
