Scholarships to study medicine is so competitve in the country I online in because it's so expensive compared with other fields of study. I know there are many many students that have a 4.0 GPA that's accepted but only 5-10 that are on scholarship (more if you include sponsorships but then the student is bonded to work so many years for the sponsor).
Also, I'd like to ask if every student that gets accepted into uni/college in the US is 'talented' enough to get a scholarship. If so, why are there so many posters on reddit complaining about student debt?
