OP is failing to realise that family comes first. His son was there before his new wife, yet it’s clear from the way he’s writing that he has put his wife as his number one priority and doesn’t really care too much for his first son. He even seems to have a pecking order (new wife & child most important, old child least important).
If the baby cried too much and stressed him out would he consider giving that up as well? Nope.
This is clearly a father that’s put his son as lowest priority and I’m sure the son can feel that day by day, which is why he’s acting out.

When my dog was dying I was gutted but, I still was able to use a phone. It's one thing to have a bad day and be busy and just not be able to talk. It's another to ghost you and to cancel you staying with him. Like canceling alone is weird.
