He sounds absolutely nuts and unhinged. If it was me, I would back up a copy of all his Reddit posts, grab a laptop/phone/passports/clothes, and get your kids and get the fk out of there. Tell the kids it’s a last minute family visit, go stay with your folks or family. Contact a divorce lawyer. And warn the other woman who he involved in all this too. I just feel like this guy could be on the next episode of Casefile with you or her as the victim, and it gives me major spine chills. The fact he likely has seen your Reddit post is concerning. Probably should have specified in the OP but they've only been playing games together on-line, not in person.
Also, we are very close to both the guy and girl ex-couple, in and of itself them playing games together online for hours is not a problem in my eyes. After talking to her about it, she said she feels it's different because it is those two specifically. She says she would be okay with me doing the same with the girl from the couple. Not sure about that, though, and I would feel weird doing it.
So I don't think it's as cut and dry as the two examples you mentioned.

OP is hurt. All I'm suggesting is that she express that in a calm and direct manner. That's how you build an authentic relationship. I'm sorry that you can't conceive of why someone would feel a way that you personally wouldn't. I explained to you why this has nothing to do with jealousy. Yes, there are situations where it's possible that you can't compromise, but that's why you communicate that. OP opening up the discussion gives him the opportunity to do that. Any 37-year-old who can't handle their partner expressing their feelings is too immature to be in a relationship. But there's no indication that he wouldn't be receptive to this.

Man, I don't mean to sound harsh but I've been in your position before and heard just about every excuse in the book but that is the dumbest excuse by far. “To keep himself sharp” sharp for what?
