  1. The two aren't mutually exclusive. I'm a great father and shitty partner. But you want to vilify me while claiming victim for my partner. Could it be possible that there is a reality where my partner didn't uphold their side of the relationship. Even after conversation about it. Refusal resulted in infidelity. Crazy?

  2. Itā€™s asinine to be in this relationship ā€œfor the kidsā€. Thatā€™s such an archaic phrase.

Be a man, protect your kids and get out of it now.

  3. Damn the downvotes are insane.

Why would anyone automatically assume how op is feeding her newborn, let alone, why would they even mention it? The original commenter needs the downvotes. How rude.

  4. Check out podcast on Surviving Infedility by Esther Perel. IF you think you want to consider if its salvageable or not…this MAY help you decide. Or give you a different perspective. OR help you see if there's anything YOU need to learn from this besides where your boundaries are (and sometimes learning that is plenty enough already!)

  5. You donā€™t print those papers ā€˜just to seeā€™ how sheā€™ll react. Thatā€™s ridiculous.

  6. I'm extremely passive aggressive with a hefty dose of sarcasm, so I'd tell her that I'd seen a photo of her dress, and that I am SUPER proud of her for deciding to wear it despite the fact that other people will be SO embarrassed for her, what with the social expectation of guests not wearing white to a wedding. I mean, it's not like anyone would think she was a bride or anything (laugh hysterically here) but honestly, it's just so BRAVE.

Then I'd hot stare at her for just a touch too long, and walk away.

  7. Here is the thing. You don't enter a fwb hoping it will lead to more. Sure, if both parties end up there it sometimes works out. But if you want a serious relationship, you date someone normally and then more towards a relationship. Fwbs rarely turn into serious relationships.

Also, stop having unprotected sex, duh.

  8. Honestly sounds like you are way more into to her than she is into you. Given that you haven't even met yet personally I call it a day and move on.

  9. For starters, I didnā€™t know that much about hygiene before meeting my boyfriend. Thatā€™s not to say I didnā€™t keep myself relatively clean- I wore clean clothes and showered every one to two days. Since meeting my boyfriend, he has been teaching me about the importance of showering every day after work or before going to bed

Ehm…what? While most people shower every day, depending on where you live, what you do and your skin, showering every other day is just as fine. Furthermore, the whole “shower before bed” vs. “shower in the morning” is a whole debate without a right/wrong in itself.

(He has also shown me different body sprays and perfumes and stuff like that).

Not sure, but besides deodorant, for most, body sprays and perfumes aren't a must and not necessarily part of “hygiene”

I have eczema, and frequent showers irritate my skin.

Are you in treatment with a doctor? Don't just too many skin products your bf recommends just because, don't take more showers than necessary.

  10. Right? It's like, just walk away? She obviously doesn't live with him(I'm assuming) so just be done?
