I don’t know. He knows you are fundamentally attracted to him and in my mind it would now be up to him to make a move, were he interested. I’d also worry about your friendship. You two are super close, which is awesome, but romantic and/or sexual desires, do tend to push a wedge into relationships, if the other doesn’t reciprocate. Worst case scenario, one party gets the feeling, the other just want to get into their pants.
My question would be – have you been dating? Or have you essentially stayed romantically faithful to this aromantic friendship? Because you moving on and saying yourself would in my mind be the next step to moving on.
I’d also throw out there, that not all friendships result in great relationships and once the latter is over, you have also lost the former.
