End the relationship but don't make weight gain a factor in the conversation. She knows she gained the weight and if doing something about it was her priority, she would have. There's nothing you can do to change that. Expressing dissatisfaction with her body is only going to make her feel badly about herself, and it's not going to fix your relationship, so please just don't do it.

I See thank you for the advice ! Perhaps I should though I think the reason my boyfriend acts the way he does is because of pats family ties that were abusive along with past relationships and Pete is familiar in that sense but regardless you’re right I should talk to him about the issue again. Hold him accountable for once in our relationship ( the only reason I haven’t is bc up until now I didn’t realize how much this was starting to get to me haha )
Cost of living is astronomical and only getting higher, and he doesn’t want to support a student, and therefore also likely wouldn’t be able to get a mortgage these days as a single income 28 year old.
