2. I can watch the kids. I am unwilling to also have to babysit a grown-ass adult who treats me like shit, because he can’t make safe decisions. I have 2 kids and 2 dogs to watch. It is exhausting and my attention can’t be everywhere at once. I think after reading all the comments here the best course of action is to just take the kids to a hotel for a couple days until FIL leaves, or it my foot down that he is never welcome back in our home, and then seek marriage counselling with husband.

4. Yeah I agree but it seams like she’s waiting for someone else to break up with him. I might be wrong but with her liking my other friend previously she was ready to break up with her current bf to go out with him.

5. I think you could greatly benefit from therapy. You have deeper issues from childhood experiences that distort your view of men in general when not all men are the same. You sound like you have a great catch and you are self aware of your insecurities, to be fair to your relationship and yourself, therapy can dig deep into those beliefs and how you can change your outlook. You need to learn self love and acceptance. You sound like a wonderful person, don't give these beliefs so much power that it's robbing you of your joy.
