  1. Agree. Take a hot pass on anyone whose father has an opinion regarding your genitals, let alone anyone who entertains said opinion.

  2. They probably did mean to the police. I've called the non-emergency line before and they wouldn't let me make a report over the phone, I had to go into a station to make it.

  3. Why do you need to speak to him like that? So rude and unkind. It's quite possible to make your point without being abusive.

  4. I think you are being pretty insecure here.

It is perfectly natural and normal to look at something (or someone) that you find attractive. By saying it is embarrassing and disrespectful you are making it a bigger issue than it needs to be. If he was straight up, unashamedly staring & drooling, sure, that is disrespectful. But to notice someone good looking, and accuse them of being embarrassing & disrespectful for glancing in a direction? Nah, that's an over the top reaction on your part.

And here's the thing, when someone is doing something unconsciously, they don't always realise that they are doing it, until someone points it out. And if you are aggressively calling him out on it, or doing it in an angry & accusatory way, of course he is going to become defensive & deny doing it, especially if he doesn't realise he has. It is possible that the way you handle this, is causing him to feel attacked.

And it doesn't seem like he is gaslighting you (and holy hell that is a phrase that gets thrown around A LOT by people who have no idea what it actually means, and how damaging ACTUAL gaslighting is). It just sounds like his perspective on what is happening is different to yours, and he disagrees with you. That's not gaslighting.

If they are casual glances in passing, let it go. If you find a casual glance causes you that much insecurity, then you should work on building your confidence.

If he is straight up ogling, or following someone around, then sure, make an issue of it.
