As someone who was abused with food, i absolutely get it. This IS a big deal. As others have pointed out at the core of this, this isnt about the food and thats the most important part. But as someone with food issues too, if you need it i give you permission too leave him, it isnt fair that what he has technically asked you to do is live through it again without any regard too your feelings. These are all red flags. I wouldve dropped that day. Its ok too let him go this isnt fair.

After a year it’s time to stop mooching when you are 30 and almost 30 and get a place of your own if you want privacy. Unless you both have medical issues maybe the other person should be prioritizing getting a place, even if it’s cheaper and not in the area you want to on-line in.
