If OP needs to be the one to say 'I don't feel comfortable talking about this now that my boyfriend is close enough to hear me' that could cause worse conflict in the relationship for her than if the therapist ends the session as a matter of policy.
And with a boundary-violating boyfriend like the one OP has, I could easily see OP feeling pressured to continue the session even though she felt deeply uncomfortable that she knew her boyfriend could hear what she was saying from the bathroom.
Is there nothing that can be done to fix things? Therapy and such?
You certainly don’t have to live! unhappy with someone acting like this but the alternative is probably just as shitty an option
