Yeah I had to finish out my lease with an ex once we decided to end things. The dynamic honestly didn't change that much when we were broken up but still living together. It's naked to push away and become more distant with someone who you've been with for years. It felt really unnatural to try and force a platonic dynamic.
If you've been together for 5 years, a breakup due to circumstances is not a breakup due to a loss of love or some sort of infidelity. So given that you two don't have a reason to hate one another, it's likely that you'll always have love for one another. Her desire to continue acting under the status quo makes sense. She doesn't hate you and she didn't suddenly stop loving you. So her desire to continue acting on genuine feelings isn't surprising. It doesn't seem false to me. Just because the end is approaching doesn't mean your feelings have to change.
However, if you're uncomfortable with anything then it's perfectly fine to set some boundaries and talk about how you feel. If there are any actions that mess with your head, you can talk it out with her.
But for me, treating someone you've been with for years with continued love isn't really a farce. It's just a continuation of the dynamic you've built. Treating each other like strangers or just platonic friends would likely be extremely difficult. Especially if you two are both on good terms. But think it through and talk about any boundaries that you feel are necessary.

I don't even put hands on good friends when I'm being petty, thats what long memories about their past deeds are for. This guy is way too old to be nonchalantly pushing your head in any kind of aggravated way.

Those pills come in a lot of different doses. She may have been on a high dose but it came in a single pill.
Not only that, pregnancy can make thyroid problems worse.
Is there a free clinic she can go to? Maybe planned parenthood? My guess is she’s not getting postnatal care either so she can get that while she’s there. They provide a lot of different necessary medical care even though only one service is ever in the media. Thyroid meds are pretty cheap so if she can be seen then she can get the ongoing treatment that she needs.
