I think it's worth remembering that the vast majority of people do not behave the way people in romantic movies do because those movies don't talk about the rather mundane and habitual realities of life.
Be more specific with your boyfriend. What is it that you actually want? Do you want to go on dates? Do you want to spend time cooking together? Do you want time where you're talking without electronic devices?
Normally I would take the woman’s side on this because of pregnancy and childbirth potentially playing a role in the future.
However, because of your age, relationships for the two of you are purely about the two of you and not about any potential children. For that reason, any naked lines you want to draw in the sand would be completely reasonable as long as you both agreed to it, which it seems you did. I was fine with him having his friends outside of our relationship, he’s got 2 other guy friends that he hangs out with & I was the one asking him to introduce us to each other for the longest.
