My feeling was that this wasn't a work trip at all, also.

Your relationship is very new, give it some time. He may have some residual feelings after such a long relationship, if he does that will fade in time. You will hopefully feel more secure in time too.
Don't rush things, it is best to take your time, especially with a child involved. Be cautious, forever isn't guaranteed. Enjoy what you have and hopefully things will work out.
I’d have a problem dating someone who was 29 and mom and dad still pay the majority of their bills while they work part time. The addition of the massive attachment and time commitment to her parents would indicate to me that she’s not really an adult who’s ready to have an independent life with healthy relationships.
I honestly don’t want to ask. I know she won’t want to and it’s just hair but it really does have an effect on me
