Break up and be free. You are young, you’re already interested in somebody else. If it’s not this other guy, there are plenty other people out there for you to meet, fall in love with, flirt with, have fun with. Don’t stick with someone who “is tired of this dating thing.” It’s going no where, and it’s really only your effort that’s keeping it alive.
Please consider showing him this post. He deserves to online as independently as possible. In my state we have vocational rehab and lots of other services. I’m thinking he must have had some occupational therapy and physical therapy in school. Even if he had a mental disability he could still have a way more independent life than he currently has.
Sounds like you’d be happier not married to him. Why not give separation a trial?
