Not defending his cheating at all but i think this was a clear case of “i been with 1 person my for majority of my life this is my one chance to try something new”.
Not saying his cheating is justified, but i know as a guy we have strong temptation to sleep with multiple women, he unfortunately gave into the temptation
You know him better than we do, if he's the type to take accountability and own up to his shit then he's worth the effort to fix the relationship. If not then i'd reconsider

You're not wrong, but you also repeated what the other person said but specified one gender when the original statement already covered everyone.
It takes it from all-inclusive and makes it gender specific even though the problem is the behavior, not the gender.
