Untangling from it is far more harder than divorce because of certain paperwork that is a headache.
So when you buy a house that’s HUGE commitment. It’s bigger than marriage tbh. More expensive than a wedding.

My cousins, they got married in lockdown, got an apartment, renews their vows last year and then bought a house.
Another cousin decided to not get married but he and her fiancé (yup not planning on tying the knot just always engaged!), bought a house seven years ago.
Plus the market is the WORST right now for buying real estate.
Was talking about this with my partner last weekend. They are predicting the housing market to crash like it did in 2008 by the end of this year due to the high cost they are asking in houses and loans.
So house buying is the worst right now.
I would wait to see this guy actually change, set it to a solid six months of CONSISTENT effort. Tell him he had three striker to get his act together before you ever move in or your out. Serious, put your foot down, because people who want to change, make the effort and do. People who don’t always go back to their old ways, because they desire being that dysfunctional.
