Idk about family court but divorce court where I had it in KS, they dont care whose at fault.
Being young when you get into the relationship usually. Happened to me. And unfortunately stuff like not caring about my needs and then gaslighting me and making me feel like I was overreacting was what started the abusive cycle for me, it just slowly escalated from there. OP needs to be careful, I've since learned that behaviour like that isn't normal in a healthy caring relationship

hey, i'm actually already diagnosed with autism so i already know why i need these routines etc in place. my partner obviously also knows this and accepts me for it. i dont expect him to follow out my rituals with me but he understands that they're there and i'm always gonna do things the same way
rats are extremely prone to illnesses and tumours, and so i control their diets to ensure we prevent them from getting sick and having to pay expensive vet bills. i've lost 3 rats from tumours and infections in the past year and its been really sad. i do it for their benefit not mine. regardless, the food is mixed in a tub and does just get thrown in the bowl, i just don't like giving them processed pellets from the shop.
when i say perfectionist i don't mean the cooking utensils have to be in a specific order in the drawer or whatever, even if i did need that i'd take control of that. i just like being able to find things in the homes they live, such as cleaning supplies, food etc and a lot of the time i find things misplaced because he 'doesn't know' where they go as if we haven't had the same arrangements for all this time. thats all i find frustrating about that
