I feel like that would've been true six years ago, when I did want him out of gratitude. But I'm a different person now and I'm still incredibly grateful to him but that's not why I'm attracted to him – he's kind and funny and very hot. I don't understand how he would think he groomed me – if he wanted to groom me he could've, I would've done anything for him and he could've done anything to me and I still would've loved him. But he waited six years. I do owe him but this isn't me trying to repay that and I hate that he thinks it is. I think your boyfriend doesn't know what a vagina smells like. Every vagina has its own scent. Unless you have some medical condition or crappy hygiene it shouldn't legitimately stink. Sounds like you have good hygiene and no medical condition. Most likely he doesn't know what vaginas smell like. If I were you, I'd lose the boyfriend and go back to normal vaginal care.
Even assuming she is being completely honest, I still think there are red flags all over this. It is weird she has never introduced you to any of her guy friends, especially if she has the kind of close relationship with them where she would share a bed without worrying about them being inappropriate. I have shared a bed with guy friends in college when we went to concerts and couldn’t afford another room/bed, so I’m not saying it’s impossible for her to be doing this innocently, but it is crazy to me that she isn’t seeing how that is far from the norm and most people would be questioning it.
This is absolutely something she should have fully disclosed to make sure you are comfortable and reassured. It does not reflect well on her self-awareness or decision making if she can’t see why it would be a problem for you.
