3. I didn’t make anything up, I suggested – hence using the word probably, that they dropped by unannounced.

   And no sorry, no one treats someone who is over regularly the same as someone they may have not seen in years.

   And I can guarantee that if the roles were reversed and OP was the one at home and had invited or allowed someone to drop by unannounced without giving her a heads up, everyone would be shiting on OP for not being considerate of his wife and how she had a headache and was exhausted.
