With the promotion and the assumed increase in salary, can you afford to pay for couples and/or individual therapy? I would do this. Your wife has some sort of hangout that, based on the info you’ve provided, is unfounded.
In the meantime, i wonder if doing some extra romantic things for her might help ease her mind. Maybe a weekend getaway, a nice date night, or taking off half a day to spend it with her. Maybe her self-esteem is low (now or always?) and she just needs a little boost. She might be jealous of this younger woman or maybe she’s having a hot time with aging, idk. Good luck!

And man, at this point, you're asking me to be a mind-reader and see what is inside your wife's head. I have no clue if her mom pressuring her to have kids affects her fear aspect! What I personally – and I'm not your wife – would feel would be aversion; I don't like being pressured to do things I don't want, so if someone tries, I push back and make sure to absolutely neverever do whatever they want me to do. But again, people are different and I don't have religious trauma and my mother was an awesome person.
I am currently seeing a talk therapist twice a week working through this.
