Highjacking top comment to say be cautious, OP. From your post he seems aggressive, he could -if he hasn't already- become physically violent. Make a plan to leave, keep it secret. Don't tell him he's abusive, that could blow up enormously. Have a friend or family member be there with you when you're leaving and try to leave while your husband is out the house.

they do it because they have the common sense to not tell their bf. if you aren't going to cheat, why unnecessarily stress him out or miss out on a fun event? you're young and in college, you'll never get to experience any of this so if you can trust your intentions, go and have fun and be safe. after all, to cheat you need to be a willing participant no?
He doesn't need a dog. Dogs take up way more time than an hour per week. An inanimate object like a fleshlight would probably be a better investment for him.
