  1. My husband was 19 and I was 23 when we met. We married at 21 and 25 years old. We celebrate our 10 year wedding anniversary this month. At 19 he had already had a few ex girlfriends and long term relationships while me at 23, he was my first serious boyfriend. I think it has a lot more to do with where you're at in your life and mentally or emotionally developed than just the numbers. At the end of the day are you going to do what makes you happy or make life decisions based on the opinions of your sister and internet strangers? You do you girl.

  2. My point is though, researching it isn't going to change the fact I'd have to take extra leave so it will be a waste of both mine and my gf's time researching a trip that won't be happening

  3. This is similar to my SO and his father. His dad basically was abusive af to his mom and him then cheated with someone else and left them 4 states away. His dad had a near fatal crash and changed after that, all his sibblings have had a mother and father who cared and helped them achieve whatever they wanted. Meanwhile his dad hasn’t never really lifted a finger to help him and now he doesn’t want any help. SO paid for what college classes he could afford with scholarships and still had to quit because money but every single one of his 5 other boys and 3 girls were able to go any college they wanted Not with scholarships nor loans. SO feels like he was the disposable test child for his dad. My half brother felt somewhat similar except my mom (not his mom) made my dad do everything right, get him everything. We both had the same when he came to online with us but he always resented me and what I was. I know because he made it rather clear what he felt before he overdosed. So now it’s been.. 5 years since he died. Me being born caused a slow spiral in my brothers life that ended with him becoming a heavy drug user to quiet the painful memories before dying in his grandparents bedroom. Then dad withered and languished for years. He lost weight, his face became so thin. He eventually died 2 years ago. Few days til the 2nd anniversary actually. Life truly is a banquet.
