We talked to his doctor, we made a game plan, but like if this was the 1 med in the world that could help him. I'd be fine without sex ever again.

Hey, just so you know me and my family do this too. My mum has been collecting her doggos fur since they were puppies and she wants to weave it into a poncho (they’re very fluffy) and when I moved out to my own place, she sent me two ziplock bags of their fur to remember them. It is fair for you to make this a dealbreaker. It is fair for him to decide to do so anyways. If that's the case it sounds like you guys might be incompatible. Especially if the response to disagreement is for one or both of you to dig your heels in – that's a sign communication has broken down. It's his choice whether to use weed or not and it's your choice whether to stay with him if he does.

yes this would bother me too. a lot. i absolutely hate food waste, especially when so many people can’t afford to eat. i agree with all the great suggestions here of having people over or giving the food away. but it would bother me that he never thought of this himself and thought that throwing away perfectly good food just because is okay.
