Honestly, as the child of parents who had a horribly dysfunctional relationship, get out of there now. Your husband had no problems believing the absolute worst about you, punished you for it, started screwing other women, then found out the truth and now wants everything to be all better. It doesn't work that way. He shattered the marriage, blackened your name & now wants you to be a loving wife again. I think you're not only hurt, but angrier than you realize. If you're the only one who paid rent on the apartment then talk to your landlord and tell them the situation, ask them if you can get out of your lease and then have them give your ex an eviction notice, it will be more formal if it comes from the landlord. Sometimes you can buy out your lease, I did and the complex let me pay it off at a very reasonable monthly rate. However if the complex turns around and rents it right away then you should only need to pay the time that they did not rent it for, for example it takes them a month to clean it up and another month to rent it back out then you will only owe them for two months rent and not what was left on your original lease, if they try to make you pay more after they've rented it out then take THEM to court because that's called “double dipping” and courts definitely frown heavily on that and would find in your favor.
