A lot of people want to skip to the end and they get into trouble. Above average salary or not. Its important to have financial maturity and control. My partner grew up with financial instability so I've spent years teaching and being patient with her. We're great at communicating and she's acknowledged its a weakness for her. I call out my weakness as well where she's helped me, so it's worked.
