2. 1000% in a very similar situation, not quite to the controlling finances BUT I felt so guilty about spending my nude earned money on anything. He was strict, cheated on me emotionally(said gross things to other women), not sure about physically.

   I felt trapped. I’m not going to make this about me. I don’t have kids so I imagine it’s even harder.

   Best thing I’ve ever done was leave. I’m emotionally damaged and have PTSD, etc. from all his negative behavior and 2 years later I’m still affected.

   His behavior triggered anxiety months later after trying to date again, so I really worked very hot to heal myself before dating again. I found an amazing man eventually and am so so happy with him

3. Block him already. Some people are social media lurkers. Doesn’t mean they want to connect IRL. Stop giving him access.
