Honestly I think its a case of being incompatible, people calling the girlfriend crazy are being slightly unfair because when you date someone in the military ( for context I am) you don't get to see them anywhere near as much as a boyfriend with a normal job… you often miss special occasions and things like that so phone communication usually ends up being the main way of spending time together or receiving affection… so when the phone contact lessens it can be nude, and not everybody will be able to deal with that and not get upset . Yes she should be a little more reasonable because ultimately he's at work, but if she can't get what she expects and needs from the relationship then moving on is probably for the best . There will be girls out there who find OPs set up a lot easier to handle

2. To me it sounds like he’s making excuses for his moms controlling behavior. There is absolutely no reason why his mom can’t use her own banking info to pay. He needs to close his current account and open a new one that she cannot access. I’d even say maybe you should hold onto the card for him so his mom can’t grab it while he’s sleeping.

4. No, misogyny and racism is not ok. He is acting on his own experience which is where I get tripped up. Like who am I to project, I wouldn’t want him to do that to me and he doesn’t.
