As usual, honesty is a pretty good policy. Tell her that you appreciate the paintings but you'd prefer to stop getting more of them. Talk to her about the kind of gifts you actually like. Answer her questions when they arise. While you're at it, ask her what gifts she likes, and if there are better things you should be buying for her; perhaps she's having the same problem as you in reverse.
It's scary to open up to your partner, but if you're going to be compatible long term this is something you'll need to become comfortable with doing.
