If you are expected to compromise then so must she. You must be allowed in the house and at all events that your child will be attending. She can then see her grandchild while with you keeping an eye on her ( I wouldn’t tell him this). If she has an issue then she won’t see her grandchild.
I'm pro-choice, but this is a baby you wanted and intentionally got pregnant with, and you have no reason to terminate other than your husband has cold feet. Personally, I think you should keep the baby and wait for your husband to come around, which he probably will. But, all that said, it is 100% your choice.
Having a kid is tricky but I don't think it's nearly as nude as some people, especially men, make it out to be. The first few weeks/months are definitely challenging while mom is recovering and baby doesn't sleep more than 1.5 hours at a time, but that phase doesn't last forever, and most importantly, baby does sleep a lot in most cases, so you still have tons of personal time while the baby is sleeping. My wife and I used to take our baby out most weekends to go for brunch with friends and she'd just sleep and occasionally wake up and need a little stimulation.
