For the most part, it's a lot of “let's take turns where two people tag-team the third”, and you need good communication for that, so if two people don't know each other well, the third is going to lose out — and usually it's the person who suggested it in the first place.
I once brought a longtime friend back home to my then-girlfriend, started out as me going out while my girlfriend stayed home, dancing all night as one does, then when the club closed, said friend came up to me and said “long shot, but I don't want to go home alone tonight, everyone else here is ick, and your girlfriend is cute too”.
Texted my girlfriend, got a reply to bring her home with me, and it went well except for the part where my friend and my girlfriend (who had only met a couple of times before) told me to lie down and enjoy, then sat up, looked at each other and said “now what, I'm all out of ideas.” Further awkwardness later on when deciding who got to be big spoon, and the compromise position where I'd sleep on my back was nixed because then I snore.

Itās very odd to me that people assume someone to be their partner without communicating that and exclusivity. I have been on ādatesā that I did not know were more than platonic, only for the assumption to be brought up publicly. Itās super uncomfortable.
This read as a massive miscommunication to me. Idk if you need to apologize, but to offer perspective (and Iām not paying attention to how anything was interpreted): she went to a party with her friend, flirted with a dude, got asked a question, and then you left. So to her, her friend randomly got mad at her and left.

yeah this unfortunately is true. My friend (and son of my parents friends) comes out as trans, everything is fine. When I did come out too it was a shitshow.
Same with being queer. My mom was even kinda suggesting that sheād be fine with me being gay or whatever, but when my parents figured I was actually in a gay relationship their actions didnāt match up with that āsupportive statementsā.

The man is manipulative, abusive and petty. Heās also a liar and almost certainly cheating on you again.
Iām sorry it didnāt work out but both people in a relationship have to really work at it for things to turn around. And I donāt ever see that happening with him.

Honestly, if heās seriously depressed even staying together is no guarantee that heāll make it. Heās the only one who can save himself. Please donāt sacrifice your life and chance for happiness on the off chance it might make a positive difference
Got the same problem I was on a relationship it lasted almost 5 months I started suspecting that she was cheating on me for some of the mentioned reasons above ended with breaking up after we broke up she admitted cheating on me
