   If she’s going to paint the walls whether you leave nicely or harshly why not just go. You’ll make a soft exit but she won’t either way if you know what I mean. You seem 100% done with this and like you’ve wanted to leave for a while now. Make a small plan for a day of leaving and just go with it. Contact your parents to give advice on how to go about it. 3. Nope I would be behind pist. Friends come first in the FWB situation in my playbook. A hookup or just causal sex to me is minus the friendship part. Both of these people are baseline your friends (I’m assuming) and this isn’t okay. Have you outlined the terms of your FWB? For me if I do it I prefer to only be that to each other and if the other person wants to hook up with someone else then we put it on pause or are done (STIs are something I want to avoid).

4. oh shit, i’m so sorry op. i empathize with both being cheated on, and not handling stress well and isolating yourself instead. as many other people in this thread are saying: break up with him. this wasn’t a “got drunk and hooked up with someone who was there” situation (also shitty), it was a “spent the time and money to hire an escort” situation. he had plenty of opportunity to back out/decide not to cheat, and he still did.

   no matter how regretful he seems, you’ll never fully know whether you can trust him. my ex cheated on me a few months after we started dating, he seemed so regretful and sorry, and so i (stupidly) accepted his apology. we ended up dating for over 2 years until he broke up with me (for allegedly separate reasons). and you know what he told me when we broke up? he had cheated on me a second time, over a year prior. i was thinking of marrying this person, and those thoughts were (i thought) reciprocated, and then everything came crashing down. op, i don’t want you to have to go through the same thing.

   any situation where you’re cheated on is incredibly shitty to deal with. don’t be afraid to lean on your friends/family. trust me, you’ll need the emotional support. you got this
