I understand you trying to justify his behavior but in the end, if you don't like something on your partner so much so you don't find him attractive anymore, then there's no point in dating
The big question is if this relationship is helping each of you to grow into the people you want to be as individuals and as a unit. People often act like having multiple relationships and sexual experiences is necessary to grow. But that is not true. At your age you definitely need to be doing some things independently and developing other friendships. You can also make a point to do new things together. But if you do not feel she is the person you want to be with for the rest of your life, don't let the complications of separating everything be the reason you stay together.
All I'm gonna say is you can lead a horse to water but can't make it drink. You can do everything in your power to show them why that person sucks but if they don't want to hear it, they won't.
All states have safe haven laws with varying details that they would need to research and preferably discuss with a lawyer.

You also need to examine why you did this. If you can't answer that question, you can't promise it won't happen again. In the meantime, find a couples counselor and tell her that you're willing to do whatever it takes to earn her trust back including counseling, an open phone policy, deleting Reddit, etc. Do not make her figure out how to forgive you, be proactive and offer solutions yourself.
