Part of the issue with long distance is you miss out on opportunities to on-line your life since your partner can't be there. This just sounds like a fun time for NYE.
Lot more fun to stay up late and drink than to head back early to sleep in a room with your father.
Reddit, reddit old pal. Imagine if this thread went instead: “My husband (28M) is forbidding me (28F) from talking to my male best friend” “Yeah we hang out once a week but he looked through my phone location and found out and now I can't speak to him anymore”
Fucking, you'd be up in arms. Come on. “But he lied about it” I WONDER WHY?, it's almost like he knew he'd endure this shitshow. And who cares? The cards are on the table now and he asks what to do and the consensus is “welp, you lied, any and all actions hitherto this point are now condemned, no we don't have any advice, you're an asshole, fuck you”.
Saw a comment saying OP might as well be gaslighting them, bitch, I feel you fuckers are gaslighting me.
What if they had been drinking on the couch together and ignored you until you said something, then they said “what’s up?” then went back to talking?
What if instead of a lady, it was some guy friend and they did that to you?
You realize that’s all fair game now, right?
Apologize. To both of them. Next time appreciate walking home to two ladies on your couch, that both seem interested in talking to you?
I swear some of the people who come here for “relationship advice” are more dense than lead!!
If the person who called was actually a doctor at all and not one of ex's flying monkeys / friend pretending to be a doctor in order to convince OP to go there. Because yeah, this (calling a supposed boyfriend to come and visit l) doesn't really sound like something doctors or nurses do.

I get that you're uncomfortable though.
I get that, but I guess I'm wondering if I should:
A) Flat out ask him to stop texting
B) Ignore his texts/block his number
