Thank you, I’ve actually been quite busy with recent childcare jobs every day and part of him coming was to help me get the place back in good shape to get my deposit back. There were evenings he sat here for hours alone and had time to fix things, but chose to watch TV. I definitely know how to fix a lightbulb, I was just using that as an example…I don’t think it makes sense to almost be in tears, saying “I should have done more”, when the opportunities to do more were there and he just chose not to.
You know better than anyone if this is the right environment for you and your child. You need to take care of yourself in order to be there for your daughter. If you can’t do that with your parents, then a move is appropriate.
