If there's proof of this then there is possibility of other stuff but not always. If the timing was right around the time yall decided to be exclusive it could be nothing now. It is completely up to you how you move forward. He doesn't really get a say at this point. The forgetting part is the most concerning. Does he forget to tell you a lot of stuff or is this a one off? How has he treated you and how is the relationship after the very beginning? You have every right to dump him if that the route you want to take. I personally would look at the whole relationship and make my decision accordingly.
