please don't send me hate. I (22F) had been in a relationship with my (ex) boyfriend (22M) for 2 years, but for the past 9 months I had slowly begun to losing feelings and I kept telling him something's off and that we should take a break, but we were both attached to each other so couldn't break up. During that time I began to develop a close friendship with a colleague which bothered my bf a lot. I would meet him even though that meant a fight between my bf and I. I realised I may have begun to like him but obviously couldn’t do anything about it because I didn’t want to hurt my ex.
Eventually we broke up bcs of this friendship and I became even more close with the colleague and we eventually confessed feelings for each other. I told him however that nothing can happen bcs I couldn't do that to my ex. During this time my ex became paranoid, rightfully so, and accused me of being a disgusting person. but today I truly did something horrible. My ex dropped by my place and wanted to see me but I was out hanging with my colleague. I kept lying about where I am but eventually told the truth. My ex is saying that I cheated on him (emotionally) and I think he's right. What do I do to make this better for everyone? I know I’m a horrible person so please don’t tell me that.
You can get grants from local government or from charities if you are eligible. You have to meet certain criteria, and they used to be means tested, some charities focus on people with children who have disabilities, and you can get credit agreements or rent appliances from some stores at low cost over long terms. The interest seems to be so high on those that £2 a week seems like a great deal but you pay more over the long run, but lots of people don't have £300 to drop on a new appliance.
Some rentals here come with white goods, some don't. Ovens will 99% of the time be provided. Most of our homes have in-house washers it's quite rare now to have to go to a shared space or laundrette to do your washing. It's been 20 years since I had to use one and it wasn't super common then either. We don't really have built in microwaves here, it's not a usual thing, but they still count as white goods. Fridge is provided about 50% of the time.
Kettle for tea? You have to bring your own. But they can be bought in any supermarket so we don't have to go far to find one. To be honest I could live! without a toaster but the hubs won't have it.
My friend even had a TV that you had to put money in the back of when the credit ran out. A man used to come every once in a while and empty the money out and any spare would go to the renter (but I never really understood the mechanics of this deal tbh).
Do not attempt to contact your daughter unless you want a police involved and a restraining order filed against you. Stay away from her, you have no right to seek a relationship at this point.
