Shouldn’t single parents not date people who don’t want kids as well though? I’ve known several single mothers who have dated men who do not want kids, and in all but once instance it finally became too much for them. ( my one friend loves having a boyfriend who stays out of her mothering lol she’s amazing). I just think that since she made this pretty clear, some of the responsibility should fall on this older man who’s the father of these children and relied on a 22 year old to make sure he could move to their city.

I just spoke to him about it briefly and he’s gonna call me when he gets home. Yeah you are right that I need to be able to take care of the things myself. At the same time I think that John is just running away from his problems. I don't think I'm the only reason why he is currently there. But who knows, I got lost in this regard over a month ago, since he stopped discussing his life and issues with me around that time.
