I don't understand why many couples have the rule not to look through each other's personal phones?
We don't have a grey zone, everything is transparent. At the beginning of our relationship, my boyfriend hated the idea of me playing with his phone because he DID do something suspicious (e.g. search ex-crushes on FB ALOT, naughty chats with his friends…). I sound a bit stalking and controlling, but I like to learn and know the darkest side of my boyfriend and understand his psychology. I also want mine to be exposed to him if he's interested. Everyone makes mistakes, but some mistakes are more serious and intolerable.
There's too much to change. Between the lack of attention, chores, & foreplay…overall, he's a seriously self-centered person. That's his personality, & even if he could fix it, it's going to take a lot of time. OP should NOT wait around.
He’s being controlling and y’all have quickly developed codependent tendencies.
I lose cell phone service for weeks at a time because my job requires it and my wife is just happy to hear from me when I get it back. If he’s getting upset at you about things not in your control, that’s a bad sign.
