Sorry, OP. You don't have to understand why or agree it's a good reason. If one person is done, the whole thing is over. It takes a lot of work to change the entire pattern of your life repeatedly, which is what she has to do every time you leave then again when you come back. It sounds like she's just not willing to do that anymore. Talk to a lawyer about how best to protect yourself, then tell her it seems like she's not interested in being together anymore and if that's the case you're not going to force the issue, and see what she says.
