I really hope once you start dating/bringing someone else around, your ex will be uncomfortable enough to nope out of the situation and your family may regain some perspective. If not though, then I think they made their choice and it's a heartbreaking one, but these people are not on your side.
You're probably being downvoted because you're painting women with a broad brush and excusing her behavior as unintentional because of it. We're not animals, and just because you're feeling the desire for a baby doesn't mean it's the right thing for your life in the immediate present. He recognizes that, she doesn't.
Being 29 (literally in her 20s!) is not an excuse to pressure someone repeatedly into a premature lifelong commitment. They've only been together a year, that is way too soon to bring a whole human life into the world, especially when the other person is clearly and explicitly telling you not yet. If she's that desperate to have a child with someone whether they're ready or not, she needs to be the one to cut the cord and find someone who wants the same thing NOW now. OP has made his position clear. He is on board with having a family, just not right this second. Waiting in their situation is prudent. She is being imprudent. That's not a woman thing, that's an individual being unwise.
He’s no longer my boyfriend because he wasn’t putting a stop to anything and that’s why we broke up so I surely did not let that situation slide what so ever.
