I honestly wouldn’t care about differing political views, you can’t change their mind anyway. My ex was a conservative although she was totally onboard with equal rights and gay marriage, she just didn’t like liberals and Democrats and where I online, we have multiple parties instead of just 2.
My question is why OP feels like she needs a “good enough reason” to break up with her BF. You can break up for literally any reason, you don’t have to have a good one lol. It’s not like you need a PowerPoint with sources cited why you are breaking up with him or the relationship continues. Just break up with him if you don’t like that your views and his don’t match up and you think it’ll cause strain between you and him.
Then find some integrity.
They do not want to get sick. It is pretty obvious to them that you are not “slightly congested” but actually ill. They also need to sleep. Your coughing and movement are keeping them awake. You could prop yourself up with pillows to elevate your head when you sleep on the couch. I think someone should sleep on the couch, but can't say who. I know when I am sick, I take the couch because I know I won't sleep well anyway.
