I get it, it doesn’t look good. We both have lots of trauma to deal with and have been pretty good at getting through different situations. I think this one is just extra severe because his dad is his literal hero. I’m trying to just give him the time and space to work through the situation in his mind and get some things settled there before I push further on where we stand. If we come out ok through this, I will definitely be bringing up couples therapy because I can’t handle another breakdown like this. It has been very traumatic, like a roller coaster ever since he left. I love him, and he loves me and the kids, but he’s handling this situation poorly and I recognize that.

From my limited experience the modeling world likes character. He was just putting you down for no reason, you didnt ask for his input you just wanted support and he did the opposite. Also to compare you to his friend is gross. I wouldn't know how to approach this, he needs to see how what he said was hurtful without trying to get out of it without apologizing. He needs to be able to understand why this was not appropriate.

Yeah, I just mentioned in another comment that we actually do want to have a kid one day. And that's what scares me, I cannot imagine taking care of kids and having to help an adult with a disability without any kind of permanent assistance.
