OP…the people who say they “had to grow up much faster than most” are usually lacking experience/maturity in some areas (e.g. they have no idea how healthy/normal actually looks like). Even if you're more mature than the average person your age, there's still a bit of a gap to someone in their 30s usually.

He can be immature in a lot of ways so we even each other out quite nicely.
