1. You'd get more sympathy if you were honest. You did something incredibly stupid but you didn't do it as innocently as you're trying to convince us, or yourself. Maybe you didn't straight up plan to cheat but you weren't closed to the idea.

   If those messages make you look bad it's not because she shared them. It's because you sent them. If your actions make you look bad it's not because they got the wrong idea. It's because your actions crossed boundaries that are pretty obvious.

   Maybe it was self-sabotage. Maybe it was you thinking things were good enough that you could get away with it. It doesn't matter. What you did was wrong. The fact you did get hard doesn't mean you didn't cheat. Going behind your girlfriend's back to send songs to your ex would be considered cheating by most people.
