  1. Hello /u/RareAge4790,

Your post was removed for the following reason(s):

Your title did not include at least two ages/genders or was not formatted correctly

    Posts must:

include details about the involved parties including ages, genders, and length of relationship, and

request advice in real situations involving two or more people

We are enforcing the two rules listed above by making all titles start with ages/genders in the following format:

[##X][##X], [## X][## X], or [##-X][##-X] where ## is the age and X is the gender (currently M, F, T, A, NB, FTM, MTF but more can be added). You can have more than two ages/genders listed, but you must have at least two at the beginning of your title. Here is an example:

[34NB][88-F] We are two people in an example post

Please resubmit with a corrected title.

  2. She’s disrespecting you for the sake of getting internet humor. That’s awful. … I don’t last long either. It feels too good. … She should respect you enough to stop publicizing a personal and private matter. If she apologized, it’s ok for you to take time to forgive

  3. No not necessarily, as I said women not than often come out on top because the court is biased, depending on where they are she can come up with some lie and have he child taken and force him to pay child support without ever letting him see it-even if it isn’t his child. That’s exactly why he should get one, if they are married he’s stuck paying for it and maybe even her lazy bum

  4. and ithought i would've heard about it

Yes, I already know what you thought you knew. I'm asking why you thought this. You say it's impactful and because it affects a lot of people – but there are many many things which are impactful and affect a lot of people. Does that same thought process apply there as well?

I am asking you to explain the leap in logic from “this is a big thing” to “I definitely would've heard about this.” Are you omnipresent? Do you engage all discourse on major topics in all places? What reason do you have to believe that you would've heard about it?

You keep circling back to “I thought I would've heard about it,” which tells me you have unexamined biases.

if i don't know something, i assume the other person is right

But here, you didn't actually know something, and you assumed the other person was wrong. Why?

Let me give you an analogy, one that I draw from my real life. I was playing a game once called Zendo, where one player makes an arrangement of specific colorful playing pieces that abides by an unspoken rule they decide upon, and each other player has to make arrangements of pieces in an attempt to divine the rule.

I kept making premature guesses because I could extrapolate patterns based on limited information. The problem is – of course you can extrapolate patterns based on limited information, because a very small amount of information can fit into a great many patterns.

Your admitted logic up there is that you knew two pieces of information, and from that assumed correctness (and yes, despite your protests, what you did is assume that your perspective was correct). However, just because you can discern a pattern from limited information doesn't mean that the pattern you discern matches reality.

I think your actual issue is that you don't interrogate topics sufficiently. It sounds to me like you learn a little bit about a topic and then run with the little bit that you know – which, as others have pointed out, is an absolutely insufferable personality trait.

  5. Only sex is enjoyable? Or are you saying only interacting with him is enjoyable and you can’t just be present in his company and enjoy that?I’m really having a hard time understanding why you’re still here.

  6. 3000 calories is a lot of food, unless you're eating garbage. I only eat like 1300 per day, and my grocery bill is still close to $100 a week. (My fiancé and I each do our own grocery shopping since our eating schedules don't align.)
