In seriousness thou I would keep telling your girlfriend that you cannot force a relationship with John. He is 10 years older than you, and has no interest in building any kind of friendship. John doesn't like you and its pretty obvious at this point, even to her. You are happy to be around him and be polite, but what she is asking for is not going to happen.
Ask her if not being friends with him is going to be a problem for her! and ask if it has been a problem in the past with her boyfriends not getting along with her friends or John specifically.
