Some games have ranking systems or achievements based on winning streaks etc. She could have ruined something he spent a lot of time working towards. Or maybe he was in an online match with team mates that relied on him, and she let the whole crew down by messing with the controller. It’s not a comical reason to break up to someone who is passionate about the game.
I like to game maybe an hour a day if I can even find the time for that much. But my girlfriend plays Fortnite every chance she gets and she’s always talking about her stats, people she squads with, limited time quests. I don’t understand it, Fortnite was never my thing, but I would never dream of fucking up something she’s been working so naked on. If I did I absolutely would not blame her for getting pissed off about it.
