They’ve developed immunity to the poisons. There are other treatments that dissolve or block their airways. They aren’t immune to it. Please do some research on the treatments (talk to a pharmacist they can help) as they’re available.

Especially in her age group, people are regularly changing, evolving, or reinventing their tastes and self image, they don’t always want the attention to be on the before vs after. This does have an effect of partners though, so its not bad to be curious
OP is likely finding something non-work related to do as well somewhere and like most women, probably accumulative hours on her phone. Statistically women burn time on their phones, men game and one is far easier to track and obvious.
