  1. A lawyer told you to go NC with your son, and you didn’t contact the child for 3 years. I’d consider that abandonment. Was your ex suppose to magically figure out that you weren’t speaking to your son because you didn’t want him to be used as psychological warfare?

It’s actually abnormal your lawyer told you to not contact your son. And it’s even more abnormal you followed through with that advice, and didn’t contact your child for 3 years. I’d be pretty fcking depress too if my father stopped talking and seeing me. The moms right, you abandoned your son. If she wanted too she can most definitely use you abandoning your child as a way to get full custody. And she’d be well within her right to do so.

Was your son just not a priority?

  2. This is sexual assault towards your boyfriend and you should ask him how he feels and possibly press charges (however, that’s something for him to decide alone) if the tables were turned I’m sure this thread would be very different.

  3. Hello /u/throwRA6677889,

Your post was removed for the following reason(s):

Your title did not include at least two ages/genders or was not formatted correctly

    Posts must:

include details about the involved parties including ages, genders, and length of relationship, and

request advice in real situations involving two or more people

We are enforcing the two rules listed above by making all titles start with ages/genders in the following format:

[##X][##X], [## X][## X], or [##-X][##-X] where ## is the age and X is the gender (currently M, F, T, A, NB, FTM, MTF but more can be added). You can have more than two ages/genders listed, but you must have at least two at the beginning of your title. Here is an example:

[34NB][88-F] We are two people in an example post

Please resubmit with a corrected title.

  5. You obviously live! together, you say you left? But you've gone back? Do you have somewhere safe to stay? Is where you live in his name? You need to work out how to get put of that home and somewhere safe. If it's in your name you need to follow any legal protocol required to get him to move out. Did you sign a cohabitation contract when you moved in together? If not, you might need legal advice depending on laws where you live.

Change all your passwords on your accounts, bank accounts, social media, phone, anything and everything, change passwords. If you had a shared bank account move your money to a safe account.

Yes something is dangerous in this situation, it's not your writing course, it is him.

Is he financially keeping you? So do you have your own income or is he paying for everything and you look after the home? If you have your own income he had no right to demand your financial information, and even if he was financially supporting you, he should not have screamed at you. You need to work out how to quickly and safely get him out of your life.

  6. I think your biggest problem is you're moving 4 hours away from everyone you know by yourself with a small child. Your work approved the switch – but what if you can't find someone to watch your daughter when you get there? How many days can you miss before you don't have money for everything? What happens if the new person you find isn't reliable? Or does something you don't like and you have to get rid of them?

Your biggest risk is childcare because unless your bf is sending you enough money that you don't need to work going some place with zero support and a young child can cause a lot of problems.
